American Bantam® takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains plainly what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. No legalese where plain English will do.

American Bantam Car Corporation (“American Bantam®,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates abantam.com. We are a U.S.-based company building American-assembled off-road vehicles. Our principal place of business is in the United States of America.
This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our website and any related pre-order, reservation, newsletter, or investor inquiry process.
02 Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what we collect automatically when you visit our site.
Information you provide:
- Pre-order & reservation forms — name, email address, phone number (optional), state of residence, and intended use (personal or fleet).
- Newsletter sign-up — email address only.
- Contact form — name, email, and the message you write.
- Investor access requests — email address and any information you include in your message.
Information collected automatically:
- IP address and approximate location (country / state level)
- Browser type, operating system, device type
- Pages visited, time on page, referring URL
- Click and scroll behavior (via analytics tools — see Section 5)

04 Sharing Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. Full stop.
We share data only with vendors who help us operate the business, and only to the extent necessary:
- Email service provider — to send confirmation and update emails.
- CRM / reservation platform — to manage the pre-order queue.
- Analytics providers (Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity) — aggregated, anonymized usage data.
- Advertising platforms (Meta, Google Ads) — if you have consented to retargeting cookies, pseudonymous identifiers only.
All vendors are contractually required to use your data only for the purposes we specify and to maintain appropriate security standards.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of American Bantam® or others.

06 Data Retention
- Pre-order / reservation data — retained until delivery is completed or your reservation is cancelled. Accounting records retained 7 years per U.S. law.
- Newsletter subscribers — retained until you unsubscribe.
- Contact form submissions — retained for 2 years or until the inquiry is resolved, whichever comes first.
- Analytics data — retained per provider defaults (Google Analytics 4: 14 months). IP addresses are anonymized.
07 Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request that we delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for cookies or marketing at any time without affecting prior processing.
- Cancel your reservation — email orders@abantam.com to cancel and request deletion of your reservation data.
California residents: Under CCPA, you have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
EEA / UK residents: You have rights under GDPR / UK GDPR and may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

08 Children’s Privacy
abantam.com is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us at charlie@abantam.com and we will delete it promptly.
09 Security
We use SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted to and from abantam.com. Reservation and contact data is stored with access controls and encrypted at rest. We conduct periodic security reviews.
No transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately.
10 Third-Party Links
abantam.com may link to third-party websites (press coverage, social platforms, supplier sites). This policy does not apply to those sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies independently.
11 Policy Changes
We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. If you have an active reservation, we will notify you by email of any material changes.
Continued use of abantam.com after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
