Made in America
American
Steel.
U.S.-melted. U.S.-poured. On every American Bantam® vehicle we build. Not a marketing claim — a documented supply chain.
Steel Origin
100% USA
Assembly
Georgia, USA
Compromise
Zero
American Bantam® — Born in Georgia, USA. We are not cutting corners on this. Not now, not ever.
The Standard
The Same Steel That Built This Country.
Every American Bantam vehicle is built with American-melted, American-poured steel. The same material that built this country’s bridges, factories, and military vehicles for over a century. You can see it. You can trust it.
We source from U.S. steel mills — not overseas facilities, not secondary markets. The steel in our vehicles is traceable to its origin. When we say American steel, we mean American steel. No asterisks. No footnotes.
This is not a marketing angle. It is a procurement decision made on day one and locked into every production run that follows.
USA Steel — Verified
Our Commitment
What American Steel Means to Us.
Melted Here
The steel in our vehicles starts as American raw material processed in American furnaces at American steel mills. Origin documented, chain of custody intact.
Poured Here
From the furnace to the coil to the stamping floor — the entire forming process happens on U.S. soil. No offshore forming, no gray-market sourcing.
Built Here
Our Georgia assembly facility takes American steel and puts American hands to work on it. Every weld, every panel, every structural member — assembled in the USA.
“When a company’s name contains the word American, the products they sell in the USA must be built in the USA. No two ways about it.”
— Charlie Paglee, Chairman & CEO, American Bantam Car Corporation
Structural Integrity
Built for the Work.
Not the Showroom.
American Bantam vehicles are designed for real conditions — mud, payload, rough terrain, and years of use. That demands structural steel with the properties you get from domestic mills: consistent grade, predictable yield strength, and a supply chain you can verify.
We are not building show trucks. We are building working vehicles for American workers. The steel reflects that.
A Century of Precedent
The Same Material. The Same Standard.
American Bantam has been part of the American military and working-vehicle story since 1940. The original BRC-40 Jeep was built with the industrial materials of its era — domestic steel, domestic labor, domestic accountability.
Eight decades later, we are returning to the same standard. Because it was never wrong to begin with.
Supply Chain Transparency
Where It Comes From.
Where It Goes.
We are transparent about where we are in our reshoring roadmap. Here is the current state of our material and component sourcing.
